Kash Erickson is a South Florida–born artist whose work lives somewhere between dark Americana and experimental alternative rock. Known for blending raw storytelling with abrasive textures and cinematic mood, Erickson’s music pulls equally from the grit of blues-soaked folk and the volatility of underground rock.
A 6+ year veteran of the Florida music scene, Erickson has performed original music across the state, toured cross-country multiple times, and held residencies in Florida,Georgia and Nashville, Tennessee. His live presence—unfiltered, restless, and emotionally charged—has earned him stages ranging from revered venues and intimate songwriter rooms like The Bluebird Cafe in Nashville.
Operating independently, Kash writes, produces, and engineers his own work, releasing music under his name as well as his earlier moniker Don Ugly. Refusing to be boxed into a single sound, he also fronts a second project, SLEEP VICE, an alternative metal / nu-metal venture inspired by the heavier end of the spectrum—created to explore the full scope of his creative range.
Whether stripped down or sonically aggressive, Kash Erickson’s music is driven by instinct, tension, and an unwavering commitment to authenticity—never staying in one place for long.
